108 Brasserie presents bold Sunday lunching with lashings of style

Marylebone’s favourite neighbourhood hangout is taking Sundays up a notch with the launch of its sumptuous roasts and soon-to-be-famous Bloody Mary trolley. Make a date to meet amid the striking awnings of 108 Brasserie’s grand, ivy-strewn terrace before moving inside to the bold red leather banquettes and buzzing brasserie atmosphere that set the scene for Sunday lunching with lashings of style.

Begin with a glass of perfectly chilled bubbles, or beckon over the Bloody Mary trolley, stacked with all the spirits, mixers, and delicious garnishes (hello crispy bacon) to make the perfect serve. The master of the wheels will shake up the classic cocktail, fresh-to-order, and just the way you like it.

With your Sunday livener in hand, choose between opening acts of beef tartare with quail egg, crispy capers and toasted sourdough; Chapel & Swan Suffolk smoked salmon with dill crème fraiche, caper berries, lemon & Guinness bread; or Devon white crab with toasted soda bread, watercress and apple salad. 

Then it’s time to make way for the roasts.  An almost impossible choice between the day’s three succulent specials which might include: West Country minted lamb rump; roasted rib beef; or half roasted thyme and rosemary corn fed chicken, all served with ever-replenishing Yorkshire puddings & roast potatoes, plus buttered root vegetable mash, spring vegetables and plenty of gravy.

If that’s not enough roast for your Sunday, top up with a delectable array of additional sides including spiced red cabbage with Granny Smith apple & crispy onions; cauliflower cheese with Pitchfork Cheddar crumb; pigs in blankets with mustard jus, 108’s signature sage & onion stuffing; or buttered spring greens with garlic & lemon.

And be sure to save space for dessert which satisfies sweet cravings with classic vanilla crème brûlée with English shortbread; Bramley apple, rhubarb, and ginger crumble with English custard; traditional sticky toffee pudding with clotted cream ice cream; or rich chocolate ice cream sundae with fudge & biscotti.
