 CULINARY DELIGHTS: BRUNCH FREE-FLOWING & DRINKS

Art Yard Bar & Kitchen has perfected the art of weekend brunch, combining mouth-watering dishes with a selection of free-flowing drinks in a creative and inspiring setting. Available every Saturday and Sunday from 11:30am to 4:00pm, the new brunch menu offers a vibrant selection of dishes designed to tantalise taste buds – combining the creative and flavourful with an enticing mix of healthy options and indulgent treats.

Signature dishes include “Burford Brown Bennies”, a twist on classic Eggs Benedict made with Clarence Court Burford Brown eggs on a rich croissant base. For those with a sweet tooth, the menu offers a creative taco-style pancake platter and a decadent “French Toast Tiramisu”. Guests can also upgrade to enjoy free-flowing drinks, including mimosas, prosecco, bloody Marys, and non-alcoholic spritzes. 

A CULTURAL FEAST: INSIDE AND OUT

Brunch at Art Yard Bar & Kitchen is not just about the food and drinks; it’s a cultural experience both inside and out. The restaurant is adorned with art and murals inspired by the SE1 neighbourhood, creating a vibrant yet discerning atmosphere.Additionally, the Maker’s Studio, adjacent to Art Yard, offers a permanent space where emerging artists can create and showcase their work as part of the hotel’s Artist in Residence programme, perfect for taking in culture after brunch . In the studio until 26 August, husband-and-wife artist duo Amy Shackleton and Julian Brown will be creating works inspired by the Southbank area that prompt reflection on urban landscapes and global warmingGuests can also explore ‘Nature’s Imprint’ in Bankside Hotel’s White Box exhibition space, an exhibition co-curated in partnership with DegreeArt.com, that explores the intersection between sustainability and art. With the Tate Modern and Southbank Centre just minutes away, Art Yard Bar & Kitchen serves as a perfect starting point for a day of cultural exploration on the South Bank.

As the charity of choice for Marriott Greater London Business Council in 2024, Art Yard is proud to support the Magic Breakfast Charity UK, dedicated to addressing morning hunger in schools across England and Scotland. Diners can contribute to this cause by choosing the ‘Magic Breakfast’ option on the brunch menu—an invisible dish for £1, with proceeds helping to provide nutritious breakfasts to over 200,000 children and young people daily.
