Dearest readers, word has reached this author’s ears that SodaStream has created a range of regency-inspired cocktails to celebrate the ‘debut’ of Bridgerton season two this 25th March.
Whether you are planning to watch the series with your own inner circle, or channelling your inner Eloise and watching solo, there’s a recipe fit for all, making these sparkling cocktails the true love match of the season.

The True Diamond of the Season
A refreshingly sharp cocktail that tastes so good, not even Lady Whisteldown would have a bad word to say:
Ingredients
- 30ml of gin
- 20 ml of Soda Press Co. Pink Grapefruit syrup
- 15ml of fresh pink grapefruit juice
- 3 sprigs of thyme
- Prosecco
Method:
- In a cocktail shaker, add a handful of ice cubes, then the gin, Soda Press Co. Pink Grapefruit syrup, pink grapefruit juice, and 2 sprigs of thyme. Shake vigorously until ingredients are well combined and chilled.
- In a martini or old-fashioned champagne glass, strain and pour the cocktail, then top with prosecco and garnish with a sprig of fresh thyme.

As bright and yellow as Penelope Fetherington’s signature dress, this lemon and vodka cocktail is perfect for anyone with a sweet tooth:
Ingredients
- 2 shots of vodka
- 1 ½ shots of lemon juice, freshly squeezed
- Pinch of sugar
- 1 lemon, to garnish
- 2 shots of SodaStream sparkling water
Method:
- Prepare the sparkling water: Fizz 1 bottle of cold water
- Add vodka, lemon juice, sugar, and sparkling water into a shaker, over ice and shake for 15 seconds
- Pour into a glass with or without ice, and top up with extra sparkling water if required
- Garnish with a lemon slice. Tip: add sugar to the rim for something a little sweeter
Fit for a Duke
With a combination of smoky whisky and sweet apple, this cocktail will leave you burning for more:
Ingredients
- SodaStream sparkling water
- 50 mL Whiskey
- 375 mL Apple Cider
- 1 lime, juiced
- 3 cinnamon sticks
Method:
- Sparkle 1 SodaStream bottle of cold water.
- Cut the apples in half and remove the core. Then slice the apple into thin rounds and combine with the lime juice in a jug.
- Add the cinnamon, apple cider and whiskey to the jug and stir to combine ingredients. Refrigerate the jug ingredients for at least two hours, so the apple infuses in the mix.
- Then top up the jug with sparkling water and garnish with mint. Enjoy!
