Now Open: Badiani Balham

Badiani, the renowned Italian gelato and dessert hotspot, has officially opened its doors on the vibrant Hildreth Street in Balham.

With an eye-catching traffic light green facade, Badiani Balham is raising the bar as the first gelateria in the group to serve up a cracking menu of hand-spun, fresh pasta, perfectly complementing its award-winning gelato and decadent desserts.

Pasta lovers will enjoy an array of authentic dishes prepared fresh to order including: creamy Cacio e Pepe, hearty Bolognese, classic Carbonara, aromatic truffle tagliatelle, rich pomodoro and basil gnocchi, and an addictive butter and sage ravioli.

For dessert, dive into gelato bliss with more than 20 options to choose from. Dig into the Buontalenti – Badiani’s most celebrated flavour, the Pistachio, a fan favourite, or go for one of the refreshing vegan sorbets made with seasonal fruit. Other gelato treats include the insta-worthy gelato burger –  two scoops of your favourite gelato, nestled between two buttery, toasted brioche buns, and topped with pistachio, hazelnut or chocolate sauce; alongside Pinguinos, gelato cakes, waffles, crepes and more.

The lively shop has cosy seating inside, or plenty of tables to bask in the sunshine alfresco with a cone in hand. Alternatively, you can grab and go for Italian night at home or order direct to your door via Deliveroo.

Whether you’re spending quality time with family or catching up with friends, Baidani Balham is the new neighbourhood go-to.
