The Donovan Bar Celebrates Negroni Week with Irresistible Italian Flair

This Negroni Week (22nd – 28th September), The Donovan Bar invites cocktail lovers to immerse themselves in the world of one of Italy’s most iconic creations.

First mixed in Florence in 1919, the Negroni has become a timeless classic, admired for its perfect balance of bitter, sweet, and botanical notes.

At the helm of this year’s celebration are two of Italy’s finest mixologists: Salvatore “The Maestro” Calabrese, one of the world’s most influential bartenders, and Federico Pavan, Director of Mixologist at The Donovan Bar. Together, they have crafted three distinctive expressions of the Negroni, each paying homage to the drink’s heritage while reimagining it with signature Donovan flair.

Guests can indulge in:

Gran Torino – A bold and complex serve that journeys deep into Italian tradition. Glen Grant 12-Year-Old Whisky, Mancino Rosso Amaranto, Campari, and Grand Marnier Louis Alexandre come together, topped with a whisper of ginger foam for warmth and spice.

Negroni Peach Me Up – A refreshing twist with a fruity kick. No3 Gin, Campari, Fernet Branca, and peach blend for an earthy, minty serve that’s as playful as it is refined

Negroni No.3 – A small but indulgent reimagining. Infused inside a chocolate-coated bottle, this tiny yet mighty Negroni layers No3 Gin, Campari, and Mancino Amaranto in a luxurious sip

With each recipe designed to showcase the Negroni’s timeless DNA while adding a touch of Donovan magic, this is an unmissable week for cocktail aficionados.
