The Highfield House is an award-winning five-star luxury country house hotel, built in 1864 and reimagined in 2022 by international designer duo, Andy and Lindsey Lampard.
The Highfield House is situated within 8 acres on the periphery of the traditional market town of Driffield, within the picturesque Yorkshire Wolds, close to the undiscovered East Yorkshire coast.
This original country merchant house and grounds has been beautifully renovated into a hotel with the 1864 AA 2 Rosette fine dining restaurant and AA 5* luxury suites, and it’s recognised for its quality, service and new country style. This beautiful location is near some stunning beaches and coastal destinations too.
The Highfield House was originally named to show one man’s love for his wife and the family-run luxury business is now famous for its ‘Merchant Luxury’ ethos, which holds sustainability, heritage and service at its heart, striving to represent the industrious Yorkshire spirit and combining this with ultimate luxury, local arts, crafts and cuisine, and creating a welcoming, genuine environment where past and present mix.

The business has already been awarded multiple accolades, including a Michelin Guide listing, AA Two Rosette for culinary excellence for its fine dining restaurant (1864), AA 5 * rating for Guest Accommodation, Good Food Award and Trip Advisor Travelers Choice.
The Highfield House was also recently once again crowned Remarkable Hotel of the Year at the last edition of the prestigious Remarkable East Yorkshire Tourism Awards (REYTAs).
Other available services include: indulgent, five-star-rated luxury spa treatments, a cosy, eclectic cocktail bar (The Library Bar), Yarn casual dining served in the beautiful Think Pink Parlour and a dedicated terrace where to savour inspiring food & drink options – an expression of the very best of British Seasons – immersed amidst beautiful surroundings, kitchen gardens and ancient woodland, as well as the property’s Merchant Stores selling locally sourced art and products.
