Originally launched in 2014 by top restaurateur Mike Benson in Fitzrovia to rave reviews, Bobo Social opened its Southwark branch in 2020 with the same commitment to using only the finest produce. Working closely with local, small-scale UK suppliers to provide top-quality seasonal and sustainable ingredients, Bobo Social is the place to go for ingredient-led, flavour-driven and locally sourced grub.

Breakfast & Brunch

Go savoury with Bobo’s infamous Shakshuka (£10.95) – a mix of spiced tomatoes, peppers, and gooey eggs served with sourdough toast (with the option of adding Nduja for an extra spicy kick) or the classic Eggs Benedict (£11.95), made with free-range poached eggs, British bacon and a burnt butter hollandaise for a decadent twist. If you fancy a sweet start to your day you can’t go wrong with

their Buttermilk Pancakes (£6.95) – super fluffy pancakes served with maple syrup (add bacon, peanut butter and fresh berries if you fancy!

Lunch, Dinner & Small Plates

Choose from a range of tasty mains such as classic European dishes like Steamed Cornish Mussels (£18.95) – a generous helping of mussels served in a creamy bay, white wine and thyme sauce served with hand-cut chips and garlic bread – to the more exotic options like the Korean Fried Chicken Fillet Bao (£15.95) – homemade bao filled with a spicy gochujang slaw and Korean fried chicken.

Drinks

For sharing or small appetites choose from an ever-changing menu of small plates,
with exciting dishes such as Chilli Salt Squid (£8.95) – crispy battered rings of squid
topped with fresh chill and spring onion and served with a tangy lemon aioli
dip –
or creamy Burrata (£7.95) served with sundried tomatoes, a balsamic sauce and pine nuts for crunch.

Indulge your sweet tooth with Bobo’s famous Basque Burnt Cheesecake (£6.95) – a luxuriously creamy cheesecake with a gooey centre and caramelised top – or the Home Made Chocolate Truffles (£6.95) – hand-rolled dark chocolate ganache rolled in cocoa powder and served with crushed honeycomb sprinkles.

Whatever you choose, pair your meal with a pick from Bobo Social’s drinks menu – an exciting mix of specially selected beers, wines and of course, the infamous Bobo Social’s Cocktails (£11), such as the Bobo, (Prosecco, gin elderflower cordial and blackberry) or La Belle Vodka, (vodka, cherry liqueur, berries, lemon juice and plum bitters). Each month also features a specially selected guest wine that can be paired with your meal, with the most recent pick Vite Colte’s Barbera d’Asti Organic Rosso Fuoco – a fruity North Italian red wine with notes of blackberry, liquorice and cherry.
