Luxury Grade II listed Great Northern Hotel in King’s Cross is celebrating the festive season in style and is ready to welcome one and all for a jolly good Christmas. From delicious seasonal dishes to a warming winter terrace, plus live music and gingerbread decorating, there’s something for everyone.

An alpine al fresco terrace

A gorgeous setting for a tipple or two to warm you against that cold winter air, Great Northern Hotel has teamed up with Rémy Martin to showcase its impressive cognac range, and to create an alpine escape in the heart of London. Visit the spacious GNH Terrace from 1st December and you’ll find it transformed with fir garlands in frosted silver and white, with cosy cushions and blankets too.

When it comes to cocktails, you’ll be left feeling merry and bright as you sip on seasonal serves such as the Ginger Sleigh, a twist on a classic Sidecar cocktail that features Rémy Martin 1738, lemon, Cointreau and gingerbread, for a punchy and bitter yet slightly buttery finish. The Rockefeller Crush is another must-try, mixed with The Botanist Gin, mulled wine reduction, lemon and apple, whilst The Great Hot Toddy is truly Christmas in a cup, as Bruichladdich Classic Laddie is blended with lemon, grapefruit, ginger, cinnamon, homemade spiced demerara sugar and Angostura bitters.
