To mark the holy month of Ramadan, Michelin-starred Indian restaurant Benares in Mayfair, has created a spectacular selection of dishes to host the perfect Iftar meal and celebrate sundown with friends and family.
Available from 22nd March to 20th April, dishes include starters such as perfectly spiced samosas, followed by classic biryanis with lamb, chicken, prawn or vegetable, and plenty of rich curries including butter chicken, lamb rogan josh and chicken tikka masala.
What’s more, every guest dining for Iftar will be treated to complimentary Khajoor (dates) – a great source of energy, fibre and iron. Guests can also order a traditional lassi drink made with yoghurt, fragrant spices and fruit to accompany the meal.
Get together with family and friends in the beautiful main dining room this Ramadan, or book one of four private dining rooms, seating eight – 36 guests. The restaurant is open until 10:30pm, Monday – Saturday, and until 9.30pm on Sundays.
