“Zendaya looked as beautiful as ever at Paris Fashion Week, debuting pin-straight chocolate brown extensions that cascaded down to her hips in a middle parting.
“This is a new look for the American actress, who has previously opted to style her naturally lob-length locks in glamourous waves and chic up-dos.
“If you’re lucky enough to have an oval-shaped face like Zendaya, this style will look fabulous, but her hip-length hair is also ideal for square and round faces.
“Square faces look great with long hair with plenty of layers as they soften angular features, while round faces benefit from longer layers that elongate the face.
“Zendaya’s look is easy to replicate at home with clip-in extensions, which are a great way to experiment with the length of your hair before committing to a more permanent style.
“Start by colour-matching the extensions to your hair colour, as the closer the match, the more seamless the blend will be.
“Once you’ve decided on the colour of your extensions, select the appropriate length. Opt for extensions at least 24 inches long to recreate the length of Zendaya’s hair.
“Make sure to straighten your natural hair and each extension beforehand, using plenty of heat protectant.
“Begin the application by sectioning your hair and clipping it out of the way, leaving a section at the nape of the neck.
“Lightly backcomb the root of the hair for more grip and apply the extensions as close to the root as possible before clipping it in place. You can then move up the hair in sections, clipping in extensions roughly two centimetres apart.
“Ensure there are no clips or bumps showing in your hair and ensure that your natural hair is blending nicely with the extensions.
“If you’re looking for more permanent extensions, consult a professional stylist and refer to a picture of Zendaya’s look.
“Flat-tip extensions are perfect for those wanting long-lasting hair, as they last for three months and can give you thicker locks that still look natural.
“Alternatively, nano tip extensions are an even more long-term solution as, with the right care, they can last up to nine months and are a great option for those with finer hair.”
