As AW25 takes shape, jewellery is leading the style conversation – offering the fastest, most expressive way to tap into the new season’s mood.
Google searches for ‘women’s autumn fashion’ and ‘autumn season’ have surged over 5,000% in the past month, with ‘fashion trends autumn 2025’ up 90%. Pinterest Trends also reports a 400% rise in ‘autumn fits’, according to jewellery brand PRYA.
From oversized gold chains to sculptural bangles and heirloom-inspired charms, the AW25 runways have made one thing clear: accessories aren’t an afterthought; they’re the main event.
PRYA’s in-house style director, Arwa Hassan, shares the key trends to know now and how to wear them with confidence.
Tailoring, Texture & Layering
Layering jewellery is an AW staple, but this season it’s taking a more directional turn. “Whether it’s gold chains over fine knits or stacked bangles over crisp shirt cuffs, layering jewellery brings softness and dimension to sharp tailoring,” says Arwa. She recommends mixing metals and textures for a deliberately unpolished, high/low finish.
Oversized Gold & Silver Chains
Runways at Chloé and Saint Laurent have confirmed it: chunky chains are back. This season they’re unapologetically bold, with a shift towards high-shine yellow gold. “It gives any outfit a warm, luxe glow, especially against autumn’s deeper colour palette,” Arwa notes.
Arwa’s pick: Naya Chunky Chain (£50) – A substantial curb chain that balances masculine edge with refined femininity. Works effortlessly over knits, tailoring, or layered with finer chains.

Mismatched Earrings
As featured in Vogue’s AW25 accessory edit, mismatched earrings are a styling statement in their own right. One sculptural drop paired with a stud or mixed metals in a single ear stack brings a playful nod to individuality. “No two looks are the same,” Arwa says.
Arwa’s pick: Soraya Asymmetric Drop Earrings (£30) – Sculptural, asymmetric drops available in two sizes. Lightweight yet impactful, they bring modern glamour from day to night.
Coloured Gemstones
From Bottega Veneta to Gucci, rich jewel tones are replacing summer brights. Think forest green, burgundy garnet, and smoky quartz. “They add instant richness and seasonal depth, perfect for elevating even the simplest knit,” says Arwa.
Statement Brooch Revival
Oversized, architectural brooches, spotted at Prada and Miu Mium are anchoring AW25 looks. Worn on lapels, chunky knits, or belts, they bring jewellery and outerwear into one cohesive statement. “It’s a functional focal point,” Hassan explains.
Mixed Metals
Gold and silver are no longer rivals. Layering both in chains, rings, and cuffs creates a modern contrast. “It’s less about perfection and more about personality,” Arwa says.
Arwa’s pick: Juna Ring (£38) – A twisted, asymmetric band in gold or silver. Ideal for stacking in mixed-metal combinations for a contemporary edge.

Bangles
This autumn, bangles are back – whether worn as a single sculptural statement or stacked along the arm. “From sculptural cuffs to slim gold bands, bangles bring a rhythmic movement to styling,” says Arwa. “They’re perfect for layering over long sleeves or a blazer, or wearing solo against bare skin.”
Arwa’s pick: Thea Wave Bangle (£34) – A twisted, asymmetric band in gold or silver. Ideal for stacking in mixed-metal combinations for a contemporary edge.
Sculptural & Heritage Pieces
“Heritage meets contemporary” is the AW25 mantra. Expect organic, molten-metal shapes alongside modernised heirlooms like mini lockets and charm bracelets. “These are keepsakes designed to be worn daily,” says Arwa.
Named Jewellery
Personalised jewellery remains a core style statement for AW25. “We’re seeing a shift towards jewellery that speaks directly to identity. Whether it’s a bold script name necklace or a discreet engraved charm, it’s about wearing something that’s unapologetically yours”, says Arwa.
Arwa’s top pick: Siena Personalised Name Necklace (£38) – A customisable piece that blends style and sentiment. Crafted from premium 18K gold, silver or rose gold stainless steel, the Siena can be personalised with up to 11 characters and paired with your choice of chain style – from delicate sphere ball to bold cuban link.
PRYA’s Styling Tip for AW25
“Invest in one or two standout pieces you can layer with your everyday jewellery,” Arwa advises. “It’s the easiest way to embrace seasonal trends while staying true to your style.”
