Green-fingered Brits wondering what plants to add to their gardens next year are being told of the most popular plants of 2025. 

Experts at GardeningExpress.co.uk have revealed the top ten best-selling plants from 2025, highlighting the demand for hardy favourites, vibrant bulbs and low-maintenance plants.  

Classic spring bulbs remain popular, with daffodils, hellebores and alliums emerging as the top three favourites among UK gardeners. 

Ivy was also in demand in 2025 among homeowners looking for low-maintenance greenery for walls and fences. 

Colourful bedding plants such as dianthus, pansies and violas continue to appeal to gardeners, thanks to their bright blooms and ability to quickly fill borders, pots and hanging baskets.

Also included on the list were fragrant, pollinator-friendly lavenders and primroses, as well as bold dahlias and seasonal poinsettias.
