From 17th – 19th June, Executive Chef Padam Raj Raihas curated a showstopping feasting platter to celebrate Father’s Day. Featuring premium cuts of grade A4 Japanese and Australian halal Wagyu, alongside certified rare Kobe beef, the platter (£150), designed for two to share, comes ready-to-sizzle at the table on the restaurant’s eponymous 400°C volcanic rock hot stones, with optional extras of black tiger king prawns and scallops for the hot stone, and the restaurant’s award-winning sashimi. Make it a meal to remember and say kampai to Dad with a delightful drinks flight consisting of three award-winning Japanese whiskies for an additional £25.

The Big Daddy Burger at Beefeater and Brewers Fayre (Nationwide)

This Father’s Day weekend (17-19 June), treat Dad to something a little bit special at Beefeater or Brewers Fayre with the show-stopping, limited edition Big Daddy Burger. Available across both brands, the double-stacked steak burger is topped with oozing cheese, lettuce, tomato, lashings of sauce and beer-battered onion rings, with Beefeater adding beef-dripping gravy. On the big day itself, there will also be a cracking Sunday Roast served with bottomless roasties and Yorkshire puddings.

Look no further than steakhouse Bar + Block for the ultimate Sunday roast this Father’s Day. On the menu is a choice of 30-day aged Aberdeen Angus Sirloin or seasoned Roast Chicken, served with all the trimmings, cheddar cauliflower cheese and lashings of red wine gravy. Heliot Steak House at The Hippodrome Casino will be marking Father’s Day with a complimentary make-your-own Old Fashioned experience, exclusively for dads. For one day only, the restaurant’s expert team of mixologists will be making Old Fashioned cocktails to order. Dads will be able to choose between tequila, rum or bourbon for the base and pick their favourite bitters and garnishes to make a cocktail perfectly suited to their tastes, before sitting back to enjoy it alongside their meal, with dishes such as Irish Wexford tomahawk and lobster linguine to choose from.

Umami Cocktails at Bar 190, The Gore London (Kensington)

Father’s Day calls for a celebratory drink with Dad and what better place than iconic Bar 190 at The Gore London in Kensington – the original site of The Rolling Stones’ 1968 Beggar’s Banquet album launch party. Explore the bar’s new savoury, umami-rich cocktail menu incorporating ingredients such as balsamic vinegar, vine-ripened tomatoes, truffle oil, pesto and sesame. If Dad is a cheese fan, he’ll love the The Unconventional Blue – cleverly marrying Japanese rice vodka and stilton cheese, gently stirred with vermouth and garnished with Sardinian carasao bread and fresh grape.
