Hey pita pals! Brace yourselves for a wild, flavour-packed adventure at Miznon Soho on Broadwick Street! The global cult favourite and Eastern Mediterranean hot spot is going back to its street food roots and shaking things up with a casual menu that puts stuffed pitas centre stage.
Leaps and bounds away from the mundane “fast-casual” places you tend to always find yourself in line at during lunch break – Miznon is all about joyful pita pockets and a high energy buzz. The new menu, with almost everything served in a pita or paper bag, showcases their magical kitchen moves. It’s perfect for discerning diners looking for a quick yet more adventurous dining experience.
Star of the show is the Miznon pillowy pita, described by an award-winning London critic as “game- changing”. Celebrity chef Eyal Shani, famous for his tongue-in-cheek, rebellious dishes, puts a quirky spin on pita fillings with regional creations that put seasonality and quality at the forefront. The Fish ‘n’ Chips, developed by Shani specifically for London, sees branzino, potato, pickles, aioli, parsley and vinegar in a pocket whilst the brand-new Rotisserie Broken Chicken comes with tahini, za’atar and spicy green peppers.
Out-of-the-pita options include Miznon’s signature and world-famous roasted baby cauliflower alongside bags of green beans; Batata: a sweet roasted potato smooshed with sour cream and smashed on a piece of baking paper; and Old City Mezze with falafel, fresh veggies and a hard-boiled egg.
Whilst the menu is casual, the drinks at Miznon Soho are anything but. Choose from four authentic gazoz featuring the best of Middle Eastern and Mediterranean flavours – enjoy them solo or jazz them up with anise-forward arak or tequila. Other drinks including cocktails, such as the Foraged Negroni, Paloma or Miznon Mary sitting alongside a selection of London beers, wines and champagne.
Inside the vibe is orchestrated chaos with chefs throwing their own style of pita parties and regular appearances from resident DJs. Grab a seat at one of the handful of tables or take a pew on the stadium-style bleacher seating – perfect for communal dining and socialising.
Miznon Soho rips up the rulebook with its unrestrained and inventive approach to casual dining making it one of London’s most exciting eateries. Head over there now for those insanely fluffy pitas and stay for the unbeatable vibe.
Available on-the-go or to eat-in, Miznon Soho is open seven days a week, from 12 noon, closing at 11pm, Monday – Saturday and 10pm Sunday. Ready, set, pita!
