Aldi’s flavourful tipples are ideal for those looking to toast to the warmer evenings. The cocktails showcase brand new additions such as the fruity Infusionist Watermelon & Lime Gin Liqueur (£10.99, 50cl), delicate Infusionist Cherry Blossom Gin Liqueur (£10.99, 50cl), as well as fan favourites Haysmith’s Mango & Passionfruit Gin (£14.99, 70cl), Saint Gérmont Raspberry Vodka (£14.99, 70cl) and GHI Best Supermarket Prosecco Winner[1] Specially Selected Valdobbiadene Prosecco (£7.99, 75cl).

Cherry Blossom Bloom (£2.13 per serving)

Transport tastebuds to a botanical bliss with this beauty! Boasting delicate floral flavours of cherry blossom that pair perfectly with fruity notes of apple, cranberry and lime – blooming lovely!

  • 50ml Infusionist Cherry Blossom Gin Liqueur
  • 25ml cranberry juice
  • 25ml apple juice
  • 75ml Specially Selected Valdobbiadene Prosecco
  • Squeeze of fresh Lime
  • Orange peel for garnish

Method:

1.       Set the prosecco aside and shake the other ingredients with ice

2.       Strain into a glass, top with prosecco and garnish with an orange peel twist


Watermelon Martini 
(£2.93 per serving)

This fruity number offers sweet watermelon flavours that meet sharp notes of lime and raspberry for a perfectly balanced taste, ideal for spring sipping.

Ingredients:

  • 100ml Infusionist Watermelon & Lime Gin Liqueur
  • 130g fresh raspberries – keep a few to garnish
  • Juice of 1 fresh Lime
  • 2 lime wedges to decorate

Method:

1.       Crush the raspberries and put all the ingredients into a cocktail shaker

2.       Fill with ice, shake vigorously and strain into two glasses with raspberries to garnish

Tropical Spritz (£1.85 per serving)

The perfect match for those who like a tropical and exotic cocktail, with sweet blends of mango and passionfruit flavours followed by zesty citrus hits – cheers to that!

Ingredients: 

  • 35ml Haysmith’s Mango & Passionfruit Flavour Gin
  • 100ml Specially Selected Valdobbiadene Prosecco
  • 15ml lemon juice
  • 10ml sugar syrup

Method:

1.       Shake gin, lemon juice and sugar syrup into an ice filled shaker

2.       Strain liquid into a glass and top with prosecco

3.       Garnish with a lemon twist 

Raspberry Kiss Cosmo (£3.14 per serving)

Cosmo lovers can whet their whistle with this delicious tipple, packed with tart flavours of raspberry and cranberry with hints of zesty lime.

Ingredients

  • 60ml Saint Gérmont Raspberry Vodka
  • 40ml cranberry juice
  • 130g fresh raspberries – keep a few to garnish
  • Juice of 1 fresh lime
  • 2 lime wedges to decorate
  • 4 fresh basil leaves – keep a couple aside to garnish
  • Ice cubes

Method

1.       Put the vodka, cranberry juice and raspberries into a shaker and shake vigorously with ice

2.       Strain into two glasses and garnish with the remaining raspberries, lime slices and basil

3.       For a longer drink, pour into tumblers, add some ice cubes and top up with sparkling elderflower water
