Rockwater, the beautiful beachside hub in Hove, is set to launch a new, forward-thinking seafood menu to give guests a taste of summer by the sea this March.

With dishes inspired by Chef Anthony Molnar’s time in Tokyo, guests can expect British classics fused with East Asian flair, ensuring all palates are catered to. Anthony and his team express their passion for food without boundaries, delivering memorable moments that last with guests forever. 

Rockwater’s mouth-watering range of sharing plates include delicious King Prawns, Crab, and the Tuna Tataki with green onion, seaweed and yuzu ponzu, exhibiting a complete umami experience. There is truly something for all to enjoy.

Meat-loving guests have plenty to look forward to, with flavourful offerings of Bavette Steak, a tender, yet bold cut that comes with Shiitake, Teriyaki Jus, Kimchi, Wasabi Peas – tapping into the menu’s oriental infusions.

For those who prefer seafood, the whole soft-poached Lobster is a treat, served with Lemon Aioli and a leafy Summer Salad. Feeling  adventurous? Why not go for the succulent Fruits De Mer. This large plate offering with native pearls of the sea, includes a generous helping of Poached Lobster, Whole King Prawns, Smoked Sea Trout, Handpicked Crab Pots, Jersey Oysters, Salmon Tataki, Quisquillas, Mussels, and Shallot Vinegar. The dish is also accompanied by a touch of Lemon, Wasabi Mayo, Gochugaru Remoulade, Sea Kelp, and a Bisque Potato Salad.

There are also a variety of plant-based options that are available, from Tamari Beetroot to Teriyaki Tacos, and the Plant Beach Duo served with Hearts of Palm ‘Crab’ Salad, Watermelon ‘Tuno’ Tartar, Edamame and Daikon Crackers. Rockwater’s vegan options are the exquisite alternative to the meat and fish menu.

There are also a slew of new beverages to indulge in at Rockwater. Why not have a taste of the Blood Orange Margarita or specialised Watermelon Spritz, which has been specially crafted with an aromatic Honey Tequila. The Spicy Margarita with Jalapeno infused Patron Tequila, Cointreau, Lime, Ancho Reyes Chilli Liqueur, Agave, and Tajin Salt Rim is ideal for those who can handle some heat. The Solero takes guests right to the beach, filled with sweet and fruity flavour of Bacardi Blanca, Passionfruit, Mango, Orange, Coconut Cream and Vanilla. 

Non-alcoholic beverages are also available with Lemon Ice Tea Cooler, a concoction of Rooibos Tea, pear, lemon, and Demerara sugar. The Strawberry Ginger Soda is another big hitter for guests, comprised of New London Light ‘Midnight Sun’, strawberry, ginger, and soda.
