Moddershall Oaks, Staffordshire: Royally Spoilt Spa Package

Making the historical monarchy moment of the King’s Coronation (6th May) one to truly remember, Moddershall Oaks has announced the launch of its limited-edition Royally Spoilt Spa Day and Spa Break packages, available from 1st – 8th May only. Perfect for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the big smoke during the grand weekend and instead, opt for a countryside retreat and some much-needed R&R, not only do the packages include access to the award-winning spa facilities but also a specialised calming Crown Chakra treatment. Also included in the package is a welcome mocktail and Royal Afternoon Tea including a Kir Royale cocktail.

To really make use of the extra May bank holiday, guests can also choose to opt for the overnight break package and complete their trip with a two-course evening meal in The Oak House restaurant, before retreating to a five-star luxury suite for a sleep of dreams, with a freshly cooked breakfast in the morning.

Carden Park Hotel, Cheshire: Royal Tasting Menu (curated by previous chef to Royalty)

Carefully curated by Executive Chef Graham Tinsley MBE, former Royal Chef, Carden Park Hotel’s fine-dining Vines Restaurant will be offering an exclusive Royal Tasting Menu to celebrate the new King.  With specialised dishes from his little black book of menus during his time with the royal family, Graham has handpicked some of the previous Prince of Wales’ favourite dishes, including his famed quail’s eggs, to create the ultimate celebratory menu, allowing diners to journey through Royal history with their taste buds. Providing the very best of a countryside gourmet dining experience, The Vines uses freshly produced local ingredients and offers an unparalleled wine list, for delectable pairings.

Bedford Lodge Hotel & Spa, Suffolk: Royal Spa Day and Royal Afternoon Tea 

With the hometown having a longstanding connection to the Royal family, with the Queen visiting regularly during her reign to enjoy the horseracing, Newmarket’s Bedford Lodge Hotel & Spa is excited to announce their jam-packed itinerary full of coronation celebrations. Manor House Alsager, Cheshire: English Garden Spa Experience with Complimentary Mocktail

Making the most of the natural light and fresh air this May bank holiday, the newly refurbished Manor House Alsager provides the best of the (British) best, with its picturesque rural location. Embracing the English countryside to its fullest, the spa garden combines quintessential landscaping and country garden planting with modern wellness facilities. Armathwaite Hall Hotel & Spa, Lake District: Coronation Garden Party Sunday and Afternoon Tea

Where better to watch the live coronation than at Armathwaite Hall whilst overlooking some of the country’s most epic views of the Lake District, whilst tucking into a delicious afternoon tea? Available on Saturday 6th only, this specially crafted offering will include some of the Brits most famed and timeless classics, including mini sandwiches (egg mayonnaise and coronation chicken amongst the fillings), buttermilk scones and of course, a strawberry and ginger trifle which has been announced as King Charles’ dessert for his coronation meal. 

Bringing the community together to celebrate the reigning monarch, Armathwaite Hall will be hosting a coronation themed Garden Party on Sunday 7th May. A day full of family fun, guests can expect LOTS of entertainment including a magician, live music, bouncy castle and even a bird of prey demonstration! On the day, animal lovers can also meet Armathwaite’s famed alpacas as they feed and stroke the gentle beings. In between catching up with friends and making memories with the kids, guests can fill their tummies on a variety of food offerings all nodding to the royal family, including mini pork crowns and coronation chicken salad over on the grazing table, or a full-blown delicious meal at the barbeque station (children alternatives available). And to top it all off, adults can wash it down with a Pimm’s Eton mess!

The Spa at Ardencote, Warwickshire: Royal Spa Morning 

Looking to celebrate the King with the gift of ultimate relaxation? Opt for Ardencote’s Royal Spa Morning package available between 5th – 8th May only. To help guests rejuvenate and rest up over the busy weekend of partying, drinking, and eating, guests can enjoy a glass of prosecco on arrival with morning access to the award-winning spa from 10am – 1pm.
