Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza will kick off the summer season with the return of its much-loved Children of the 80’s event on Saturday, 9 April at 8pm.
The party will be back with a “Beach Edition” theme to proceedings and will take place at one of the most popular restaurants at the hotel, The Beach at Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza, located in Playa d’en Bossa.
This special edition of Children of the 80’s, which has become one of the most anticipated events on the island of Ibiza, will return after two years of forced hiatus, to bring music fans together again to celebrate the most popular hits of the era – as well as the unique styles and looks of the time!
Access will be free for all guests, who will enjoy the performances of La Movida Ibiza (DJS Petit and Vazquez) and well-known saxophonist Lugotti, turning the stunning beach restaurant into a dance floor celebrating the most iconic hits of the 70s, 80s and 90s.
Joining these renowned headliners will be the Passion Dance Dancers, who will be the heartbeat of the evening, encouraging attendees onto the dance floor and making the night one to remember. The event promises to be an excellent taster of what is to come for the Children of the 80s season, with further dates and celebrations to be announced between June and September.
Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza will open its doors to guests on Friday 8 April, just one day prior to the event, meaning the Children of the 80s will be marking the start of what promises to be a truly special summer season on the White Island.
To get guests into the Ibiza spirit, The Beach at Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza will offer an impressive lunch menu with the most traditional flavours and dishes of the island combined with classic Mediterranean cuisine, with a touch of the Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza character added in for good measure.
The Children of the 80’s series was launched at Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza back in 2015 by The Night League and quickly became one of the most successful events in Ibiza for lovers of the era. For the last few seasons, the weekly summer residence has provided an alternative event to the established circuit of electronic music that exists in Ibiza, Tenerife and the international scene, offering an innovative leisure and entertainment format that references and unites different generations.
