News just out: only 2 Italian Resorts have made the top 10 European List in the Travel & Leisure Awards announced today, including Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni in Bellagio, Lake Como. The hotel also wins 2nd place for Italy’s Best Resorts.
The prestigious magazine’s highly-anticipated awards reveal the top 100 hotels in the world as voted by T+L readers. This year, over 186,000 T+L readers participated in the survey, casting more than 700,000 votes across 8,700 properties worldwide.
Hotels were classified into four categories: resort hotel, city hotel, inn, or safari lodge, based on their location and amenities. They were evaluated on several criteria, including Rooms/facilities; Location; Service; Food; Value. Respondents were required to rate each as excellent, above average, average, below average, or poor. The final scores were calculated as averages of these responses.
Italian Triumph
T+L readers voted Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni to the 8th place overall, and one of only two Italian hotels in the top 10. Additionally, Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni was ranked as the 2nd best resort in Italy. This recognition highlights the exceptional hospitality and unique experiences that Italian resorts offer to their guests.
