The long-awaited summer season in Ibiza is within touching distance and the island is getting ready to welcome holiday-makers back to the White Isle for what is expected to be one of the longest summer seasons yet. 

Founded and headquartered in Ibiza, local hotel group Palladium Hotel Group rounds up the new developments for this year at the island’s most sought-after hotels. 

Ibiza 2022 – The NEW one: TRS Ibiza Hotel 

Opening mid-May 2022, TRS Ibiza Hotel is one of the most anticipated hotel openings of the year and will be the only five-star, all-inclusive property on the island that is exclusively for adults. It will revolutionise the all-inclusive concept, giving guests access to not just the services and facilities at the hotel, but also to dining and entertainment experiences at the island’s most outstanding venues thanks to exclusive partnerships. Located on the west coast of the island, the hotel’s sky lounge with infinity pool is set to become a hotspot for watching the famous San Antonio sunsets, accompanied by live music. Three à la carte restaurants offer guests high quality international and local dishes, and a personalised butler service for every guest will allow for ultimate relaxation.

Ibiza 2022 – The one for Michelin-starred level dining: BLESS Hotel Ibiza 

Spanish chef Martin Berasategui, who has 12 Michelin stars to his name, launches a new tasting menu at his Ibiza restaurant Etxeko for this season, with dishes that will place greater focus on local Ibizan produce, combining Balearic specialities and Berasategui’s San Sebastian style. Since last season, Etxeko, located at BLESS Hotel Ibiza, has also been awarded a Repsol Sun and is now listed in the prestigious Michelin Guide. Alongside its award-winning restaurant, BLESS Hotel Ibiza’s EPIC Infinity Lounge will feature a series of jazz events against a backdrop of breath-taking sea views during the season. The hotel is also launching new wellness packages with activities and events focused on relaxation and rejuvenation.

Ibiza 2022 – The one for a social media frenzy: Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel  

Playa d’en Bossa’s flagship property, Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel returns this season with refreshed luxury, gastronomy and entertainment experiences that have made the hotel a globally recognised brand. The avant-garde hotel has updated interiors, new dining options and a full live events programme for the first time in two years. The hotel-meets-venue will open the same weekend as its opening party, which takes place 30 April and will be its earliest ever season opener. Joining forces with superclub Hï Ibiza to present Better Together across the opening weekend, the two clubs will feature performances by many of the biggest names in electronic music.  

Ahead of the season, Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel is launching new profiles on Instagram and Facebook, under ushuaiahotelibiza. Its essential events agenda will continue to be shared under the existing profiles of ushuaiaibiza, while the new profiles will offer news on the hotel’s other experiences, from gastronomy, lifestyle, to fashion, current affairs and the hotel’s own developments.

Ibiza 2022 – The one celebrating musical heritage: Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza 

With 2022 being a huge year for musical anniversaries, Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza will this season recognise some of the greatest moments in music history. Guests will be able to enjoy memorabilia from legendary artists that are connected to significant milestones, such as albums The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars from David Bowie and The Rolling Stones’ Exlie on Main St, which both turn 50 this summer. The music immersion will continue with Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza’s weekly events agenda, which will once again feature international artists at its beachfront, open-air stage, while live pop-up performances will delight guests at other locations across the hotel.

Ibiza 2022 – The one for wine and tapas close to the action: Grand Palladium Palace Ibiza Resort & Spa and Grand Palladium White Island Resort & Spa 

The five-star all-inclusive resorts, Grand Palladium Palace Ibiza Resort & Spa and Grand Palladium White Island Resort & Spa are thrilled to reopen their doors for another season for families and couples looking for that touch of luxury underneath the glorious Balearic skies. The neighbouring properties are located at the far end of Playa d’en Bossa, just a short walk from Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel, Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza and the other beach clubs that have made the area famous. Within the resort, an all-new wine and tapas bar will open to guests this season, adding to an already gleaming list of culinary options including 11 onsite bars and restaurants.

Ibiza 2022 – The one for disconnection and detox: Agroturismo Sa Talaia 

Sitting atop a hill in countryside above San Antonio, Agroturismo Sa Talaia is a relaxing, rural destination for adults-only surrounded by idyllic gardens featuring jasmine, pine and citrus.  With just 12 bedrooms, the former mansion house provides a remote yet sophisticated space for couples or groups of friends to disconnect in the middle of nature. Rooms are set in separate buildings around the grounds, creating an exclusive oasis surrounded by pine trees and exquisite gardens. The manor’s alluring central pool framed by palm trees and a modern indoor restaurant serving tapas next to a chic bar completes the intimate atmosphere.
