Myth 1: You will always know when you have a thyroid condition.

Truth 1: Thyroid conditions can masquerade as a multitude of other health conditions, making it hard to detect.

Studies show that the average time to diagnose thyroid conditions is 4.5 years[1], and up to 60% of thyroid disorders remain undiagnosed due to subtle, nonspecific symptoms that are wrongly attributed to other conditions. Myth 2: Thyroid issues are exclusive to women.

Myth 5: Levothyroxine cures an underactive thyroid.
