With many holidaymakers already thinking about beating the inevitable post-summer blues, online travel agent loveholidays has revealed the cheapest destinations to escape to in autumn.
Based on a review of seven-night packages (flights and hotel included) available through loveholidays between 1 October and 30 November 2024, the cheapest destination is revealed as Ipsos in the Greek Islands, averaging at £236 per person.
S’illot in the Balearic Islands, Karterados in the Greek Islands and Malgrat de Mar in mainland Spain follow closely behind, with average prices of £252, £280 and £283 per person respectively.
The analysis goes on to reveal Orlando, USA, as the cheapest long haul destination for the same period, averaging at £711 per person for a seven-night stay.
Dubai in the UAE, Louisiana’s Baton Rouge and the city of Boston complete the top four, coming in at £859, £918 and £955 per person on average.
